Brief wedding interlude
As if life wasn’t busy enough we dedicated some of our precious time last week to getting married.
Marcus and I have been together for a very long time and engaged for about five
years – arguably we could have chosen endless much more convenient dates to
have got married in the past few years, but no, we decided that May 6th – just
about a month before we permanently move our lives to France – was the date to do it!
So we had one day off from our very hectic schedule last week to tie the knot in
front of a small group of close friends and family. It was such a lovely day, with
lots of Prosecco (sorry France we went Italian!), a delicious cake baked by Tours du Tarn’s very own baker: Mel, a very generous afternoon tea of scones and petit fours and good old sandwiches, topped off with lots of sunshine too. Perfect. Now back to the day job(s)!
