It's January and we've had some unseasonably wet weather for a few weeks, so what else is there to do but to use the powers of the internet (Yay, we finally have 4G - no more satellite internet!) to do some marketing and PR from the comfort of the fireside.
In the cold and quiet depths of winter it's always nice to look back on what you achieved the previous year and I think it's fair to say that our 2017 was equally as eventful and as momentous as our 2016! From babies being born to the birthing (literal blood, sweat and tears!) of our very own swimming pool, it's hard to fathom how we found the time or energy to then welcome guests to our cabin, holiday makers to our barn, hold a vow renewal ceremony, host family, friends and neighbours, and of course, our cycling holiday guests. But somehow we did find the energy and in the past week I've spent a fair bit of time going through our Facebook reviews, HomeAway Reviews, AirBnB reviews, Google reviews, as well as the reviews left to us by guests in our visitor book. It has proven to be a very pleasant task which has brightened the dreary weather no end. It has also given us all a morale boost as it turns out that we're pretty good at what we're doing if our reviews are anything to go by!
If you have the time or inclination to see for yourself then you will find our reviews at all of the above mentioned sites (click the links) but if frankly you have better things to do (I don't) then don't worry, I've selected a few of the good ones as well as some lovely images of our cycling guests to go with them. Here's to 2018 and another year of positives...
