Our food

There is no doubting the gourmet heritage of the French, and in our corner of Southwest France there is plenty of fresh, seasonal produce and regional delicacies to take full advantage of and inspire our menus.

With so many local markets providing an abundance of fruit, vegetables, meat and cheese, our dishes make use of the produce on our doorstep and ensure our guests are well fuelled for a day on the bike. This includes local cheese such as Le Pic, a goats cheese made a few miles away, eggs from chickens just a few steps from our door or fruit and vegetables, much of it organic, supplied by the farmers and fields that you pass on our cycling routes.

During your stay take breakfast on the sun terrace with fresh croissants, chocolatines, preserves, fruit and fresh fromage frais and each evening watch the sun go down as you enjoy alfresco dining (weather permitting!) accompanied by ancient Gaillac wines of our region.

All routes take in tried and tested lunch stops where you can purchase great value dishes from the 2-3 course Menu du Jour (often with wine included). Or pick up fresh patisserie or savoury snack from the villages you encounter on route.

With such an abundance of fresh fruit and vegetables, vegan and vegetarian guests can also be sure they will be well catered for.

Please note our menus change depending on the seasons and the availability of fresh produce.
